During these visits, we meet with existing and potential members, community partners, and often give a presentation at the schools about career opportunities in tourism and the benefits that tourism can provide to the community.

Our priority, along with promoting Nunavut as a world-class tourism destination, is always to promote our members' products and services to potential travelers and to the travel trade.

Each year, the Canadian Tourism Commission organizes a tourism marketplace that brings together hundreds of international tour operators, travel agents, and other members of the travel trade with the Canadian tourism industry for four days of speed-dating-style appointments, networking events and professional development sessions to encourage more tourism in Canada. Nunavut Tourism, along with several of our members, attends this event every year as a rare and valuable opportunity to meet with international tour operators who are interested in carrying Nunavut product.
