Journey to Auyuittuq
You arrive in Pangnirtung on the
shores of Baffin Island. First stop, the local Artists’ Centre for museum
quality prints and carvings. Then, you begin your five days of pre-arranged
hiking and climbing with a local outfitter. After an incredible boat ride down
the fiord into Auyuittuq National Park, the hike to the cairn at the Arctic
Circle is easy. Forgetting the experience – impossible.
